CFN CHORAL FESTIVAL NETWORK
CFN is a network of qualified International festivals and competitions, which want to give fair and transparent participants’ conditions to choirs and individuals.
CFN is a working network — the CFN database provides interesting information on competitions and festivals worldwide to everybody.
CFN is a working tool for the daily work of festival directors and –organizers and choral conductors who like to join festivals and competitions.
ECA EUROPEAN CHORAL ASSOCIATION - EUROPA CANTAT
The aim of ECA is to promote cultural diversity and exchange and to encourage and support the development of new contemporary vocal music. This is achieved in particular through various training opportunities for both choir conductors and singers, where participants from different countries meet, make music together and share everyday life with each other. A particular concern is to bring together musicians from different countries and regions of Europe as well as from different cultural backgrounds.
IFCM INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF CHORAL MUSIC
IFCM was founded in 1982 for the purpose of facilitating communication and exchange between choral musicians throughout the world. IFCM is the official representative of choral music on the International Music Council.
MUSICA INTERNATIONAL
MUSICA is an international project that seeks to gather information on all choral music of the world and compile it into a single research tool.
CHorama
CHorama represents the interests and promotes the activities of choral music in Switzerland. CHorama combines forces in order to discuss, at the political and educational level, important topics regarding choral singing in Switzerland, to decide on specific measures and to implement them in the affiliated associations.
Basler Musik-Konvent
The Basler Musik-Konvent coordinates the choral concerts to be performed in the Basel area and provides an information forum for interested parties for this purpose.
