SWISS CHOIR CONDUCTOR MEETING

Every year, Switzerland’s major choral associations organise a professional development event for choir directors, music students and interested choristers. The workshops are open to the public and take place every other year on Ascension Thursday during the festival. In 2027, the event will be held at the Don Bosco Music and Culture Centre in the Breite district of Basel.

Participation in a workshop will be acknologed as further eduction in the federal J+M programme.

The programme for the next choir directors’ meeting will be published here in due course. Registration will open here on 1 November 2026.

Costs
– Day passes CHF 70/50* including lunch
– Single workshops CHF 20/15* per workshop
*reduced for students, J+M coaches
